Colon hydrotherapy is the irrigation of the colon with purified water using disposable nozzles and hygienic equipment in a comfortable setting in order to evacuate the contents of the bowel. Colon hydrotherapy is often referred to as colonics, high colonics, colon therapy or colon irrigation. Throughout history the practice of colon cleansing has been used to meet the medical needs of people everywhere. In fact, the age-old practice of colon cleansing was recorded as early as 1500 B.C. in an Egyptian document called the “Eber Papyrus”. |

He has worked in the colon hydrotherapy field for over 24 years. | Gary Albertson D.O. has received specialized training in anti-aging medicine, weight loss medicine, mesotherapy and sports medicine and has practiced medicine for more than 34 years. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Practice. His is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Practice and Past President of the American Society of bariatric Physicians. Dr. Albertson is specially trained in the application of cosmetic mesotherapy and is the founder of the Weigh of Life Weight Loss Program.
